The EAST Code of Ethics and Business Conduct is one of EAST‘s most important documents. The Code defines standards and references policies and resources throughout to help you understand EAST‘s business values and your responsibilities.
Read it carefully and in its entirety. Keep it with you and reference it frequently as a guide to help you make the right decisions and locate important sources of information. Although the Code makes it easy for you to understand your obligations,it cannot anticipate every ethical dilemma you may face. EAST prefer suppliers who in good faith reports.

No Child Labour
The suppliers shall not use children who below the minimum age ,which means shall not be less than 16years old,this aims to protect children from any form of exploitation.
Freedom of Association&Right
The suppliers shall provide freedom working environment .
it is not allow to have any forcement labour.
The working hours shall not exceed the limited hours by local labour laws.
The suppliers shall put a suggestion box in the workplace.and to make a deadline to solve the complaints for the workers,
Health and Safety
Suppliers shall focus on the right to healthy working and living conditions of workers.And to bulid up a safety working environment for the workers.
Suppliers shall comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
Suppliers shall have first aid medicals in house.
Suppliers must do a thorough risk assessment of all areas of the facility, and ensure that employees are not working in a dangerous environment.
Suppliers shall provide a protective device to whom are using chemical.
There must be a sufficient number of employees trained in first aid, and adequately stocked first aid kits available to all employees.
Suppliers shall make sure there are enough fire equipments in house and the fire equipment are still in valid period.
The suppliers shall not discriminate, exclude or have a certain preference for persons on the basis of gender, age, religion, race, caste, birth, social background, disability, ethnic and national origin, nationality, membership in unions or any other legitimated organisations, political affiliation or opinions, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, marital status, diseases or any other condition that could give rise to discrimination. In particular, workers shall not be harassed or disciplined on any of the grounds listed above.
Wages and compensation
The suppliers should follow up the local laws regarding payment for overtime working. The suppliers should not holding wages in any reasons.And the wages should pay on time. The wages calculation should be fair and comply with local wages level policy.
Ethical Business Behaviour
Suppliers should not involved in any act of corruption, extortion or embezzlement, nor in any form of bribery.
